David Brain, an influential thought-leader and proven expert in the technology necessary to thrive in the future of work, is SYKES’ chief technology officer. David first began transforming front-office operations through business process outsourcing (BPO) services in 2005. Since then, he’s had a whole host of experiences in the industry, working in various leadership and technical positions prior to co-founding Symphony Ventures Limited, a global consulting, implementation, and managed services firm specializing in intelligent automation (IA) as well as robotic process automation (RPA) in 2014. In 2018, when SYKES acquired Symphony, David was named the president of SYKES Digital Services (SDS).
In David’s role as chief digital officer, he is responsible for leading and inspiring SYKES’ global teams to reimagine a new, digital-first future of work. Through his efforts, David works to enable our brand partners to succeed in an increasingly digital-first marketplace.
As part of his duties at SYKES, David also leads SYKES Digital Services, which has been tasked with incorporating the portfolio of digital transformation capabilities that SYKES has acquired in recent years, including Qelp, TalentSprout and the SYKES’ Solution Architect and Insight Analytics teams. Currently residing in the United Kingdom, he manages multiple business units and SYKES teams all around the world.
Over the course of David’s long and impressive career, he has helped to design and lead some of the largest and most complex outsourcing deals, BPO product suites, and industry-leading incubation labs in the world.
